Bristles and tats and l’il felt tips, people: The 2017 Queers & Comics Conference is upon us! It’s in San Francisco this time (last one was 2015 in NYC) on Friday and Saturday, April 14-15. Queer comics superstars Gengoroh Tagame and Mariko Tamaki are conference keynote speakers…as if the mere notion of such a conglomeration was not enuf!
I will be there too–appearing on (in? at?) A Life in Panels: Queer Women Memoir on Saturday at 4:30-6 PM with immoderate moderator/doggie drawer Nicole Georges, and a pack of other graphic self-revealers, including Becky Hawkins, Leanne Franson, Sophie Yanow, and Khale McHurst. I will also be signing books on Saturday, April 15, from 12-1 PM.
